Arbitrum Choice & Future Considerations

BidCoin was initially launched on Arbitrum for several key reasons:

  • Low Transaction Fees: Arbitrum's low transaction fees make it an attractive platform for penny auctions, where frequent bidding is essential.

  • USDT Liquidity: Arbitrum offers deep liquidity for USDT, the primary stablecoin used on the platform.

  • EVM Compatibility: Arbitrum's EVM (Ethereum Virtual Machine) compatibility allows for easy deployment of existing Ethereum-based smart contracts.

However, we are considering a potential migration to Binance Smart Chain (BSC) in the very near future to:

  • Access More Pools: BSC offers access to a wider range of liquidity pools and alternative cryptocurrencies (XRP, ADA, etc.).

  • Expand User Base: BSC has a large and active user base, which could help to drive adoption of BidCoin.
